One night.
All worship.
In 2003, at a breakfast outreach in his neighbourhood, Pastor Taiwo Bolodeoku heard the Lord speak expressly: gather the people one night and just worship Him all through the night — no preaching, only worship. The scripture was Acts 16:25 — “At midnight Paul and Silas sang praises to God.”
Night of Worship was born that night in a living room. It filled to capacity, spilled to the dining and stairway, then moved to the church, and from a hall to open and larger grounds — every step made way for the increasing crowd.
What began as simple obedience has become a source of blessing to multitudes: lives transformed, hearts healed, and countless souls drawn closer to His presence.

The convener's letter
A Word from the Convener
I am deeply grateful to God as I welcome you to the 16th edition of Night of Worship.
What began as a simple vision birthed in a living room has, by the grace of God, become a gathering of worshippers from different places and generations, united by one desire: to seek Him and encounter His presence.
For sixteen editions, we have watched God remain faithful. Through every season, every theme, every song, and every gathering, He has continued to reveal Himself and draw us deeper into worship. We have seen lives transformed, hearts restored, burdens lifted, and people encounter the reality of a God who still dwells among His people.
This year, we return to the heart of it all.
Under the theme “In His Presence,” we gather with a renewed desire to behold Him.
There is a place where striving gives way to surrender, where noise gives way to stillness, and where we are reminded that the greatest thing we can seek is not simply what God can do, but God Himself.
- His presence is where we find peace.
- His presence is where we find strength.
- His presence is where hearts are restored and lives are changed.
This is why we gather.
We are honoured to have Dunsin Oyekan, Bidemi Olaoba, Beejay Sax, Kenebukky, Oluwayemisi, Sounds of Heaven and The Psalmists, and Voices in Zion and The Apostles leading us in worship as we turn our hearts towards the One who is worthy of it all.
To every volunteer, partner, worshipper, and everyone who has believed in this vision and served it over the years, thank you. Your prayers, sacrifice, service, and commitment have helped carry this vision from one generation of worshippers to another.
And to everyone joining us for the first time, welcome.
Come as you are. Come with your questions, your burdens, your expectations, and your praise. Come ready to lay everything else aside and fix your heart on the Audience of One.
May this not simply be another gathering for you. May it be an encounter you carry with you long after the songs have ended and the gathering is over.
May we encounter Him, behold Him, and leave transformed by His presence.

The Cloud of Glory
It began as a whisper of faith that became a sound of revival. Worshippers gathered under open skies, hearts lifted and hands raised — many still recall that night as the moment they first saw God's glory, not in words but in waves of tangible presence.
2011
In His Presence / The Release of His Power
In May, worship lingered like incense. By November, the atmosphere shifted — power flowed freely, the sick were healed, the weary found strength, and the city began to take notice: something divine was unfolding.
2012
God and God Alone
Worship became a single voice crying, “You alone are God.” For weeks, people testified that their priorities had changed. God wasn't just acknowledged; He was enthroned.
2013
Indescribable God
Words failed, but worship didn't. The atmosphere grew weighty — time seemed to slow, a night where heaven opened and language surrendered to awe. Attendees described it as being “lost in wonder.”
2014
Great and Mighty God
A night that still echoes. Worship turned into celebration — tears became laughter, and people danced as chains fell. It was loud, it was holy, and it was unforgettable.
2015
Shekinah Glory
As though heaven drew near in form and fragrance — stillness met power. People spoke of visions, of feeling the weight of God's presence, and of finding healing in silence. The glory didn't just fall; it stayed.
2016
The Splendor of His Majesty
Worship felt royal. The stage became a throne room where hearts bowed before the King — beauty, excellence and reverence woven into one sound.
2017
Revealing His Glory
Worship became fire and intimacy intertwined. That year, something shifted — people didn't just attend Night of Worship; they began to belong to it.
2018
The Excellency of Our God (Edition X)
A decade of grace. A global sound rose from Lagos to the nations — a reminder that excellence is not performance; it is worship done well for the Excellent One.
2019
The Only God
An anthem of devotion. Thousands sang one truth: “There is no God but You.” People came with questions and left with peace. It was pure, unfiltered surrender.
2022
In the Multitude of His Mercies
After the silence of the pandemic years, worship returned — louder, deeper, more grateful. Hands were lifted not just for what God did, but for what He preserved. Mercy had become the melody.
2023
Rivers of Living Water
That year, worship flowed freely. Many described the night as “a baptism in song” — a time of refreshing where faith was renewed and dry places came alive again.
2024
The Fullness of His Grace
Grace flooded the atmosphere — intimate yet vast. People knelt, wept, and danced in awe of a God who gives grace upon grace.
2025
Peace Like a River (The Fifteenth Wave)
Fifteen years. Fifteen waves of glory. We stood at the river's edge — where peace flows steady, deep, and unending.
